Element’s Independent Director, Dr. John Gilbert, joins Director and VP, Candy Ho to discuss how Element’s intergenerational, aging-in-place model is best for seniors and families. Dr. Gilbert was Ms. Ho’s leadership mentor during her days at UBC. He founded the UBC College of Health Disciplines, is Senior Advisor on World Health Organization, and member of the Order of Canada for his contribution- to interprofessional health care education, training and collaboration. Dr. Gilbert brings invaluable expertise to Element, and will play an important role in Element’s vision to elevate best practices and standards through a collaborative teamwork approach.
