FLAGSHIP IN CAMBIE VILLAGE, VANCOUVER BC
Element received 8:0 votes of support by Mayor and Council at the Public Hearing on February 26, 2015 for our rezoning of eight contiguous single family properties spanning the block between Cambie and Yukon, on the south side of West King Edward Avenue. We now proceed to refine architectural plans to apply for our Development Permit, and will soon engage the community with the formation of a resident focus group.
Conveniently and centrally located in Vancouver’s Cambie Village, this flagship will have many fine restaurants and shops in close proximity to allow residents to live an active lifestyle. It is literally steps away from the King Edward Canada Line station, within a few blocks of Hillcrest Community Centre and Queen Elizabeth Park, only one station from Oakridge Shopping Centre and medical center, and three short stops from downtown.
This residence is proposed to encompass the complete continuum of lifestyles, from Independent Living and Assisted Living rental and condominium suites, to Memory Care and Licensed Complex Care.
We will continue to post updates on the rezoning process as milestones are achieved.
